IBRU FAMiLY: 25th Anniversary Celebration of their late matriarch, Mrs. Elsie Ibru

The amiable Ibru family celebrated the 25th anniversary of their matriarch, Mrs. Elsie Nelly Michael Ibru, which took place on February 7, 2015. She was the wife of Olorogun Michael C. O. Ibru. She was born on December 1, 1927 to a West German father and a Camerounian mother. The reception took place at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos. In attendance were family,  business associates and friends to felicitate with them.  She was fondly called Auntie.

One of the sons, Olorogun Oscar Ibru described their mother thus:
"Auntie was a Super- Woman. She was good at everything she put her hand to; gardening, needlework, cooking, business, dancing and even singing. Above all she was a loyal wife and a loving mother who made her house a home that filled every heart with special warmth and care, without forgetting to always put God first. She was a pillar of strength and we will forever remember her good nature, humility, kindness and the ever ready welcoming warm smile that hardly left her face."

Some food of thought for the proud hearted. This was a woman who had it all and yet could still be her self. We all should emulate her.
